THE BLACK WOMEN ROUNDTABLE
The Black Women's Roundtable (BWR) is the women and girls empowerment arm of The National Coalition on Black Civic Participation (The National Coalition/NCBCP). The BWR promotes health and wellness, economic security & sustainability, education and global empowerment as key elements of success.
2017 HEALTHY*WEALTHY*WISE EMPOWERMENT PROJECT
Is designed to provide over 5,000 Black women and girls in seven states and the District of Columbia of diverse ages, economic levels, education and cultural backgrounds with strategies, tools and resources to invest in their goals to achieve sustainable economic security & prosperity, retirement security, health & wellness, life-long learning for themselves, their families and communities. The BWR Project ’17 will utilize diverse entrepreneurship training models, civic engagement, coalition building, education, health & wellness and leadership development strategies to achieve its project goals.
